This past Saturday, the Kinsmen Club of Miramichi held its annual closing party for the 2024-2025 year. We were honored to have members of the K-40 Club join us, along with their families. Hearing their stories, receiving their support, and benefiting from their years of experience is an invaluable asset to our club.
The awards for this year are as follows:
- Kin Anthony Gray and Kin Michael Loggie were awarded the prestigious Ken MacDonald Memorial Kinsmen of the Year Award, given to Kinsmen who best exemplify the aims of the association.
- Kin Brendan Manderson received the Kin Louis Gallant Memorial Award, which honors the Kinsmen who, like Kin Louis Gallant, best exemplify the qualities of unselfish service to the community.
- Kin Mike McCallum won the Kinitiative Award, recognizing a member who has re-engaged with the club.

We are incredibly proud to have raised over $154,000 during the 2024-2025 season and to have logged just over 1,200 hours of service. We want to thank everyone in Miramichi for their generous spirit, and we are excited about what the 2025-2026 year will bring!
