Year End 2021-2022
This past weekend the Kinsmen Club of the Miramichi held their annual closing party for the 2021-2022 year.
We were honored to have members of the K40 Club present with their families. To hear their stories, to have their support, and their years of experience is an invaluable asset to our club.
The club awards this year are as follows:
Incoming President Shane Berry won the prestigious Ken MacDonald Memorial Kinsmen of the Year Award, which is awarded to Kinsmen who best exemplify the aims of the association as a whole.
Tom King received the Kinitiative Award, which is awarded to Kinsmen who have been members of the club who return to Kin and display a resurgence of commitment to the club.
For a third year in a row, Anthony Gray received the Kin Louis Gallant Memorial Award which is awarded to the Kinsmen, who like Kin Louis Gallant, best exemplifies the qualities of unselfish service to the community.
The 2022-23 Club Executive:
Past President – Brendan Manderson
President – Shane Berry
Vice President – Anthony Gray
Secretary – Brendan Manderson
Treasurer – Michael Loggie
Membership Director – Tim Saunders (LM)
Service Director – Steve Myles (LM)
Education Director – Tom King (LM)
We were beyond proud to have been able to raise over $96,000 dollars during the 2021-2022 season and logged just over 2000 hours of service.
We want to thank everyone on the Miramichi for their spirit of generosity and know that we are ready and excited for what the 2022-2021 year will bring!
