The Kinsmen Club of the Miramichi are very pleased to announce that over $38,000 was raised in just over a week to help support local kids during the upcoming holiday season, through the Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie campaign. A fundraising campaign which gives 100% of the proceeds from the sales of the cookies to a local charity. The Kinsmen are the chosen partners of local Tim Horton’s Owner/Operator Wade Humphreys. This generous contribution will help fund The Miramichi Kinsmen Toy Drive which will go towards schools all over the greater Miramichi are, from Doaktown, all the way to Tabusintac, and help less fortunate children receive toys at Christmas. This will be one of our biggest years yet, and all hands will be on deck to add holiday magic to families in need this Christmas. This is one of the largest service projects for the Kinsmen and it has grown substantially since it began. We can’t express our thanks enough to all the wonderful staff at the local schools and the staff at Walmart Miramichi for all their hard work. There’s going to be a lot of happy faces this Christmas!
