On May 1st, 1952 a group of men got together to form the Kinsmen Club of Newcastle. Since that date hundreds of members have come and gone from the club leaving a proud legacy that the 20 plus members of the Kinsmen Club of the Miramichi today hold proudly in their hearts.
Over our 57 year history our members have donated over $3 million to the Miramichi region and we will continue the tradition of "Serving the Community's Greatest Need", over the next year.
I am proud to have been elected President and look forward to leading this fine group of community leaders over the next year. I encourage you to take a few minutes and look through our website. It is filled with a wealth of information and pictures. During this year, the 91st anniversary of Kin, I will seek to raise the profile of Kin in our community with a year long celebration. I challenge all members to take on a greater role, become more active and increase our membership. We are now in full swing for the new Kin year!
