Kin Canada Atlantic announces New Governor and Vice Governor
Kin Canada Atlantic Outgoing Governors Brian Cooper and Korren Penney are pleased to annouce that at District
Convention 2009 in Corner Brook, NL Mitch Freeman of Charlottetown, PE became the 1st single leader in the District
as District Governor-Elect.
The members of the District also elected a new Vice Governor; Brenda Dooley of
the Kinette Club of Sackville, NS assumes her new position effective July 1st. Both Brenda and Mitch are excited about
the upcoming year as it is marks the 90th Anniversary of Kin!

Miramichi to host District Convention 2010
At District Convention in Corner Brook, NL, the Kinsmen Club of the Miramichi won the right District Convention
2010. After hosting convention in 2001(in what many consider to be the best District convention ever!) the club decided
it was time to bring the convention back "On The River"
The convention will be chaired by Pat King and
will happen Jun 9-13, 2010 at the Rodd Miramichi River Lodge. The club members look forward to seeing old friends, making
new ones and that the members of District 7 will once again come to Miramichi for District Convention 2010...On the River!
