Gallant Wins Speak Off
At Spring Zone 2009 in Florenceville,
NB, Miramichi Kinsmen Club President John Gallant won the Zone Public Speaking Competition. He will now represent his
fellow Kin in New Brunswick at District Convention in Corner Brook, NL in hopes to bring home the Rupert Kethro Memorial Speaking
Trophy.
President John looks forward to the convention and says, "I am pleased to be given the opportunity
to represent the ZOne but also the chance to bring back the Speak off trophy that is sponsored by the Miramichi Kinsmen and
has only been home 3 times! This year I hope to make it four!"

New Deputy Governor Elected
At Spring Zone 2009 in Florenceville the Kinsmen of Zone A elected a new Deputy Governor. L.M. Bob Brannen of the
Kinsmen Club of Fredericton was elected after a strong campaign.
DG Elect Bob is proud to have been elected to
represent the members of Zone A on the District Council and looks forward to visiting all clubs and hearing their concerns
over the next year.

Edmundston to host Spring Zone 2010:
At Spring Zone 2009, in Florenceville, NB the Kinsmen Club of Edmundston won the bid to host Spring Zone 2010.
Registration forms, costs and accomodation details will be circulated to all clubs
in the fall.
