“The Little Hannah”

“The Little Hannah” is a gift to the Miramichi Kinsmen in appreciation of their commitment to the CF cause.

The colours, white, blue and red, represent the colours of both the Kinsmen and our CF Chapter and the close relationship that they share.

The salmon fly represents our river, the Mighty Miramichi, famous not only for its salmon fishing but for the generosity of its people, especially the Kinsmen who give so much of their time and effort for their community.

Little Hannah is a girl, not quite 4 years old when this fly was created.  Even though she is afflicted with CF, her energy and excitement exemplifies every good deed the Kinsmen Club of the Miramichi and their brothers that stood before them, in the last 50 years have accomplished in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.

This salmon fly is yours.  It is the official Miramichi Kinsmen salmon fly.  Our chapter hopes and prays that you continue your tremendous work and that your fly, “The Little Hannah”, will raise as many fish as you do money.
